The Gonzales Research poll shows that Eastern Shore residents are solidly in support of bringing offshore wind to Maryland and recognize that offshore wind would have a positive impact in a range of areas, including job creation, electricity prices and energy independence.

A majority (51%) of Shore residents support offshore wind, while 37% oppose; more than 2/3 of residents believe offshore wind will boost job development and improve Marylanders’ health.
